In Progress: Thesis Project
I’ve always been completely fascinated with space travel, maybe it’s something about escape or maybe I’m just intrigued by the weird idea of it. With this in mind, I decided to focus my senior year thesis on space research and how I would be able to bring a piece of myself there. The research led me to the Golden Record project by Carl Sagan and his team which, in short, is a collection of images and sounds to describe Earth that were sent out to space on the Voyager in 1977.
I had a New Years Resolution to learn how to make music so my common interests perfectly aligned and I decided I would produce my own Golden Record and campaign it to be sent out to space. Like, how cool would that be???
This project is still ongoing.
